Warrant of Electrical Fitness (WoEF)
Motorhomes | Caravans | Transportables | Vessels
EIS Services provide Warrant of Electrical Fitness, inspections, and remedial work to allow the issuing of WoEF for Transportable structures and vehicles including their site supplies.
An Electrical Warrant of Fitness (commonly known as EWOF or WOeF) is a certification ensuring you and others that your connectable installation is electrically safe to use.
Having an Electrical WOF is a requirement of law in New Zealand
Motorhome, Caravan & Transportable
A current Warrant of Electrical Fitness is required before the motorhome/caravan can be connected to the 230 volt supply system. The electrical WOF is valid for four years from month of issue. A warrant can only be issued by a Registered Electrical Inspector.
Boats and other vessels including commercial.
It is absolutely imperative to the safety of your boat to have a New Zealand Qualified Electrical Inspector that is completely competent in maritime safety standards and regulation, and has had vast experience in the marine industry.
It is a legal requirement in New Zealand for all Marinas supplying the power connection and persons connecting to the power supply to ensure the vessel has a current EWOF (Electrical Warrant of Fitness). To be able to safely connect, your vessel’s EWOF must be current and renewed every four years.
Alan Hill inspected my motor home for its electrical WOF. I casually asked him if my solar needed a boost because I could not freedom camp for more than a day .He returned a couple of days later and put his testing instrument to check the battery and discovered that my battery was faulty .The battery was only 14 months old ,he wrote a report to the suppliers of the state of this new battery which they replaced under warranty .
My reversing camera was playing up so he demonstrated to me a new wireless system which I ordered and he subsequently fitted .
I would highly recommend Alan for any work on motor homes caravans or boats.
